CONSUMER ALERT!!!

If you live in or around the following regions: Niagara County, Brant County, Dufferin County, Peel Region, Halton Region, Durham Region, Wellington Region please read the following:

It has recently been brought to our attention that some individuals in and around the areas above have been falsely identifying themselves as authorized representatives of "Pave-Tech" from Orillia.  These individuals are using high-pressure door-to-door sales tactics, and will only accept payments in cash.  They may offer to give you a receipt and/or invoice, which will indicate our company name and address, but these are fraudulant receipts/invoices.  From reports that we have received, work being performed is sub-standard, and in most cases, is left incomplete.  If you reside in or around the areas above, and are approached by someone claiming they are from Pave-Tech, we urge you to immediately contact our Office at 705.329.2200 or Toll-Free at 888.329.2240 to confirm the identity of the person before you.  Under no circumstances would we advise that you give any form of payment to these individuals, and furthermore, we ask that you contact your local Police to report the incident.  These individuals seem to prey on the elderly, and use a variety of intimidation tactics.  Our company is located in Orillia, ON, and has been in business since 2001.  All of our Crew are uniformed in clothing that bears a crest with our company logo, and our entire fleet of vehicles are decalled with our company logo.  Our company logo is displayed below for reference.  Should anyone come to your home or place of business claiming to be from "Pave-Tech", we again urge you to contact our Office directly before conducting any business transactions.  The Better Business Bureau and our local Police Authorities have been notified of these recent incidents, and are working diligently at trying to locate these individuals who are impersonating our company and its owners.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused.  Should you have any questions or concerns, we would be happy to hear from you.  Again, you may contact us by phone, e-mail, fax, or regular post mail.  Please refer to our "Contact Us" page for all of our pertinent contact information.
